| Q. What connectors do you use? A. We use the industry standard Neutrik range for our assemblies, well engineered, easy to terminate, excellent cable retention, ultimate reliability. We can offer both Neutrik NPC/X jacks (the industry standard) and Neutrik NYS jacks (space saving metal plugs popular for static installations). All Xlrs, Bantams, GPOs and Phonos we use are Neutrik, beware cheap copies. Check out www.neutrik.com. Q.What cable do you use? A. Most of our product range features Van Damme cable, we also offer Cordial, Sommer, JTC, Klotz and Quartex cable. We use cable with superior mechanical and electrical properties. Flexibilty, screening, resistance and capacitance being some of the most important factors, we don't care much for overpriced hifi cables. We can offer thinner foil screened cables for discreet installation as well as thicker cables for rugged touring requirements. Q. How quickly can you supply cables? A. Nearly all the cables we sell are made to order in our Northamptonshire workshop. Smaller orders can often be turned around in two or three days, larger orders may take longer, bespoke cables are our speciality so we don't keep large quantities of assembled cables in stock. Q. How do I order? A. Simply email or phone us to place your order, we'll confirm prices and advise turnaround times. We do not make promises we can't keep. We endeavour to keep our customers up to date on order progress via email. Where possible we prefer larger orders to be clearly specified in email with particular attention to any required loom numbering, tail lengths, and pinouts, this way both parties have full specifications in writing and we can be confident that your cables will perform exactly as required straight out of the box. We accept payment by cheque, account transfer, or via Paypal (all major credit cards processed). Q. How much is delivery? A. Delivery is £5.00 for shorter single cables which are sent via 1st class post. For longer cables and all multicores we charge £8.00 for courier service. We use UK Mail and Fastway courier services so a signature is required upon delivery. Shipping is free on all orders over £150 excluding VAT. |
